The release of Good Time Warrior by Lucifer's Friend saw the departure of ledgendary rock vocalist John Lawton (who exited for a stint as Uriah Heep vocalist) and the entrance of another English talent Mike Starrs. The album also marked a change of direction for the group.

Their debut album is also the name of the band - "Lucifer's Friend". This first album is pure metal - not thrash, not hate, not BS attitude, and not stupidly simple three-chord progressions. This album contains MUSIC, real music, in the style of the s that was (and still is) called "heavy metal". 40 years later this CD still out-rocks most of the cr*p on the market today/5(94).

The White Album is a good cover, but come on, man, it’s a blank page. Nazareth’s No Mean City and Lucifer Friend’s first album. Blue Cheer’s Outsideinside fascinated me as a youngster.

Review: Hitting you with something super fresh with the third EP instalment from man of the moment Brodinski's own Bromance Records. Taking in elements from a wide spectrum of electronic music, including breaks, house, electro, and progressive, Club Cheval kicks it off with the ravey 'Now You Realize' that carries plenty of crazy twists, cheer inducing drops, and some wicked broken beat fills.
